Brian brings unique client-side marketing and media leadership experience across multiple consumer and retail verticals, matched with a demonstrated ability to translate complex analytical solutions into understood and actionable strategies and tactics.
With 18+ years of marketing leadership experience at companies including VF Corporation, Advance Auto Parts, GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson, Brian joins Ipsos MMA from American Tire Distributors, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer, leading a marketing transformation initiative that included the creation of the company’s first Marketing Investment & Analytics capability.
While at VF Corporation, he stood up and led the company’s inaugural Marketing Center of Excellence, including a global marketing mix program covering the majority of the company’s multi-brand portfolio (including Vans, North Face, Timberland, Wrangler.) His team also led portfolio-wide efforts across brand equity, forecasting, market trends, and audience targeting and selection. To drive activation and impact, Brian led efforts around media agency management and best practices, drove integrated efforts with the Digital Titans (Google, Facebook, Amazon), and directed the development and approval of marketing investment proposals with the executive team.
Brian has his BA in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.Return to Executive Team Page
